Pat Suggs PSA-MP-IAPS-MC noted pastel artist is a resident of San Jose and a third generation Californian. She feels Crayola Company has started many artist on their lifes journey, born in Reedly and raised in Santa Cruz California, she has been drawing and painting since childhood, that passion has carried her forward through formal art training at the Leighton Fine Art Academy in San Francisco and across the world to study at the great art centers of London, Paris, Rome, Florence, Amsterdam, Dresden, Shanghai, Hong Kong, Moscow, and St Petersburg to name a few, adding vast historical and visual depth to her knowledge of art and art history. A full time painter she is known for her expressive florals and landscapes as well as her ability to capture light. Pat is a Master Pastelist member of the Pastel Society of America and was inducted into the International Association of Pastel Societies, Master Circle in 2005. Her work has been displayed in prestigious venues in the United States, the Butler Institute of American art in Ohio, the National Art Club, NYC, Binney & Smith Gallery, Bethlehem PA., and our own Triton Museum of Fine Art in Santa Clara CA. She has had her painting published in "Best of Pastel" and "Floral Inspiration" Rockport Publishers. She is listed in "Who's Who in American Art" (since 1993) and is represented in private collections throughout the USA and France. You can currently view Pat's work at Gallery 24 in Los Gatos,Ca.
